DeprimusQuest (also known as V2), is the second establishment of V SERIES: A Tale of Friendship, and also the second entry in the Questions Arc of this franchise. It was made by AndrewIGD in 36 days using Unity.
The game was released exclusively for the Deprimus members, on April 21st 2020.
The story begins with every one of the Deprimus members being at their homes. MisterInfo is playing CS:GO with some friends. After some times, he hears a screech, but doesn't know what's the source. His house then blows up, along with other buildings in the nearby area. He then texts the Deprimus group with an application called IGDChat that there's a huge spaceship around his home. The Deprimus group doesn't believe him at first, but they convine themselves when they look outside. Meanwhile, some robots break into MisterInfo's home, prompting him to fight them. The deprimus group decides they should help him, except for AndrewIGD, who remains at home programming, oblivious to the situation.
MisterInfo at the moment of the explosion was in his room, so he was not armed at all. His only choice was to fight the robots bare-handed. He manages to take one down, grabbing it's gun, and destroys the remaining robots in his home.
The deprimus group is immediatly faced with incredible amounts of robots. Being split makes this harder for them to clear out the area, but they manage it anyway and they all meet up at the spaceship. Some civilians end up dying, as they were the main target of the robots.
The deprimus group ends up going inside the spaceship, and face another wave of robots. But this time being all together, it makes the job way easier. They find the control panel, and UW launches the ship to the launching site of the spaceship. They clean up another wave of robots, and find Deprimus. Deprimus refuses to fight, so he leaves them to fight his elites instead. His elites consist of:
The deprimus group is met with a challenge for each elite they have to fight. These challenges are the following:
No challenge at all. The only challenge here is to coordinate your team in a way that makes them unable to attack Foolus so he can kill you all.
Difficulty ramps up a bit. Player has to dodge bullets in order to stay alive.
No robots for this one. Confuscius multiplies into 20 copies of himself. Clones have 1 health.
Agilius is extremely fast.
Deprimus group has 1 health. Even the robots have 1 health. Bullets move in slow-motion.
Hlizatus is also fast. But in addition to this, the screen also shakes.
He stands still, but he has a lot of health, and there are a lot of robots that spawn.
This guy is one shot. But you'll have to pass his quiz first. The quiz in which you don't know the answers to.
This guy is inginius. He can constantly teleport and detonate mines around the map.
Finally, you arrive to Deprimus. He currently is deppresed because of his loneliness, so he can't fight very well. Because of this, he brings his elites for the final fight! The Deprimus group has to wins this, otherwise Deprimus will take over the world! Fortunately, they manage to beat him and his elites. Deprimus then takes them through some of IGD's games, such as Gunbrawl, MetaTanks, MineRivals, TheQuestForJS and PHPQuest, and challenges the Deprimus group in each and every one of them. The Deprimus group defeat Deprimus in these games too, but he grows in size and health, and gives his final try at defeating the protagonists. Sadly for him, this won't work out for him either. He dissolves into nonexistence, and the game shows a NullReferenceException error, almost making the universe explode. Deprimus turns into Fericitus because the Deprimus group "visited" them. Fericitus then teleports everybody home... Except he doesn't. He actually teleports them into nonexistence, which causes another NullReferenceException to show, making the universe to explode for good... for now...
The game being pretty hard, it was necessary for AndrewIGD to buff the Deprimus group characters. All except for one. UW was the only one to not receive a patched version of the game, and defeating it anyway. UW is the only one as of date to win in the unpatched version of DeprimusQuest. This meme may be used for bragging rights.
Example Usage:
The game at one point after defeating Deprimus, you had to beat him in IGD's games. One of them features PHPQuest, in which the final boss, David, has a chance to throw one ultimate. The code for David is the same as the code of Deprimus in the PHPQuest game for DeprimusQuest, with exactly the same chance. During his playthrough, UW encountered this, and was hit with 3 ultimates consecutively, making UW unable to move during this time, and in the end, killing him. This meme may be used to counter the previous meme, when someone is bragging about something.
Many may think AndrewIGD didn't care to come help MisterInfo in his fight against the robots. In actuality, he lives somewhere far away from them. If AndrewIGD were to come help them, by the time he would've arrived, Deprimus would've been already defeated.
Dilius intentionally featured questions that a certain Deprimus group member wouldn't know. In order for him to find the answers, they would have to ask another Deprimus group member about the subject. The last question features a base 64 code split into 4 parts that had to be deciphered in order to pass, making the game impossible to beat if one of the Deprimus group members didn't show up. Unless you are UW, which managed to get a question right without needing any help from any of the Deprimus group members.
