David is a fictional character present in some games made by the Deprimus group. He is mainly portrayed as an antagonist.
He is the founder of a web service development company called DeHard. While the company is very big, others have pointed out numerous flaws in the founder's business decisions. The main technologies used by the DeHard employees are PHP, and sometimes Azure.
David gets angry very easily, mostly due to the fact that he is impacient. He also follows old habits, and rejects most of the new and better things. One example of this is the fact that he still uses PHP, even though Node is clearly superior. While he's not that good at managing a business, he is good at encouraging other people (more specifically, his employees).
- David, just like Melnic, is also inspired by a real-life acquaintance of the Deprimus members.
- due to the fact that his company is universally hated, the name DeHard is not actually mentioned in any games, as everyone calls it DeSoft in order to mock him. It's possible he heard this name so many times that he himself forgot about the name DeHard.
- While he is more intelligent and mature than Melnic, his old habits (PHP) hold his potential back.
