This meeting is memorable due to the fact that two of the members' bikes broke.
All members met up near the Red Bridge. They rested for a bit, and then they went on their bike ride.
They rode their bikes around the city, stopping at a supermarket. However, while climbing a hill, Pebly's back shifter broke, rendering his bike useless. They bought snacks and water at the supermarket, and Pebly didn't bother locking up his bike: 'What are they going to do? Steal it? The bike doesn't even work'.
Pebly tried to fix his bike by removing the shifter. However, after about half an hour, everyone decided to go buy a set of pliers, because fixing the bike by hand was very hard. They stopped at a small store, and asked the clerk if he had any pliers. He said 'sure', and everyone was surprised. They even had a cheap set of screw and hex heads, so Pebly settled for that. With his new tools in hand, Pebly managed to fix his bike very quickly. With no back shifter, the bike relied purely on the long chain. However, the chain was so long that it would constantly move around while the bike was in motion. In other words, the gears changed by themselves. Everyone laughed, saying that Pebly's bike was upgraded with an automatic gearbox. While imperfect, the bike was surprisingly usable in this state, and Pebly even managed to reach high speeds with it.
The tool set that Pebly bought included a cheap transparent screwdriver that had a removable bottom cap. UW thought it would be funny to pour Sprite (which MisterInfo bought from the supermarket) into the screwdriver. They did that, and it was very funny. UW joked that the Sprite inside the screwdriver acted like a levelling instrument, due to the fact that it looked like one of those tools that use bubbles to show how level a surface is.
Everyone went to Petru, bought some food, and then headed to a park. However, there was a sign at the entrance that said 'no bikes allowed'. Therefore, they went to another park, and rested for a bit.
When everyone decided to leave, AndrewIGD's chain snapped suddenly. Therefore, he had to use his bike as a scooter, being unable to use his pedals. Everyone headed home after that.
